We are currently recruiting for the role of Linear Infrastructures Junior Designer with experience in roadway (or railway) design, to join our ambitious and experienced Linear Infrastructures team. We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as standalone linear infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Our clients are from the private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our office has an established track record of successfully delivering roadway designs for many years, throughout the USA and Australia not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural Enterprise Capabilities Team (Poland/Spain).

Here's what you'll do:

• Perform specific and moderate portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
• Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
• Propose approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments.
• Identify discrepancies in results.
• Provide guidance to entry level engineers.
• Perform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
• Independently perform all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works. 

Here's what we're looking for:

• Proven track record of working on highway designs (+4 years).
• Experience with international regulations and standards (i.e AASTHO; Australian Codes; British Standards, etc.) will be considered favorably.
• Skilled in geometrical design at least one of the following software packages: InRoads, OpenRoads, Civil 3D, Geopak, 12d Model
• Advanced level in CAD software (preferable AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
• Experience working in the North America region / Australia will be considered favorably.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• CV in English language.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering
• US and/or Australia Professional Engineer license will be considered favorably.
