Job Description
A leading technology manufacturer is seeking a hands‑on Supervisor Consultant to reinforce its Manufacturing team. The production environment focuses on high‑quality, advanced technical equipment, requiring a strong operational mindset and the ability to lead teams in a dynamic setting.
Team Leadership & Operations
• Lead one or more production departments and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Supervise a team of approximately 40 production staff, supported by Line Responsibles.
• Maintain a strong on‑site presence to coach team members, monitor processes, and ensure optimal workflow.
Production Management
• Coordinate the full production process, ensuring planning is executed efficiently and on time.
• Monitor and steer operational KPIs together with manufacturing colleagues.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements across production flows.
Technical & Process Excellence
• Perform root‑cause analyses on technical issues and lead the implementation of corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the industrialisation team to ensure the smooth introduction of new products and tools into production.
• Work closely with industrialisation, planning, logistics, and quality teams on day‑to‑day operations.
Reporting
• Report directly to the Manufacturing Manager for the duration of the assignmen
Background
• Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent proven experience.
• Strong interest in process optimisation and manufacturing efficiency.
• Solid technical understanding and a practical, hands‑on approach.
Methodologies & Tools
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Agile methods, and “Factory of the Future” concepts.
• Very strong knowledge of Excel and confident using MS Office.
Languages
• Fluent in Dutch.
• Practical working knowledge of English.
