Your role
As a Lighting Artist you will be responsible for the creation of the lighting setup of a given project. You will work with Concept/ Lighting/ Texture/ Level Artists, Game and Level Designers to ensure that all the elements of the game work together in terms of art, gameplay and technical restrictions.
Your daily adventure
CREATE A CERTAIN MOOD THROUGH LIGHTING
Using in-depth knowledge of color theory, composition 
EFFICIENTLY USE TECHNOLOGIES & TOOLS 
For real-time lighting and data managing, such as Global illumination and Perforce
WORK WITHIN TECHNICAL CONSTRAINTS
Of the platform and the engine, and push its limits
FOLLOW THE ARTISTIC DIRECTION
Deliver work efficiently and in accordance with the project's artistic direction
APPLY OPTIMIZATION
To your work
USE AND LOOK FOR ARTISTIC REFERENCES
In video games or in other artistic domains in order to improve the visual aspect of the game
STAY UP-TO-DATE
With the industry’s current lighting techniques
Your skills 
KNOWLEDGE
Very good expertise of lighting and atmospheric effects
Good insight of color theory
Good knowledge of at least one 3D software
Good knowledge of modeling techniques

Ability to understand technical constraints and to integrate them in your work
