Lighting and Compositing Artist

Scopely is looking for a talented ad creative Lighting and Compositing Artist to join our growing Marketing Creative Services team based in Bangalore.

We are the in-house creative agency, Flamed, an International multidisciplinary team. We build thousands of creatives every year to support all Scopely games Marketing needs worldwide.

What You Will Do

• Lighting & Cinematics: Light environments, characters, and cinematics for marketing content, maintaining style, mood, and continuity

• Compositing: Create high-quality composites by integrating 3D renders with custom VFX, 2D elements, and stock footage

• VFX Integration: Develop and/or integrate VFX that enhances atmosphere and storytelling

• Rendering & Optimization: Set up renders, troubleshoot issues, and optimize render settings

• Collaboration & Iteration: Work closely with Supervisor/Lead, respond to feedback, and iterate quickly

What We’re Looking For

• Core Qualification:

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in lighting and compositing (games, animation, VFX, advertising, cinematics, or related)

• A portfolio/demo reel that showcases strong lighting and compositing work (breakdowns are a plus)

• Comfortable owning tasks end-to-end with guidance, and collaborating within a fast-paced review

• Fluent communication skills in English

• Technical Knowledge:

• Strong working knowledge of Unreal Engine lighting and post-process workflows

• Proficiency in After Effects

• Working knowledge of Cinema 4D and Octane Render

• Good understanding of lighting, rendering, and compositing techniques

• Understanding of PBR materials and texture fundamentals

• Creative Skills:

• Strong artistic eye for color, contrast, composition, and lighting principles

• Ability to match references and adapt style to follow Art Direction

• High attention to detail and a strong sense of polish
