We are seeking a dedicated and alert Lifeguard & Swimming Instructor to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers and providing swimming instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels.

• Monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and respond quickly to emergency situations
• Perform water rescues and administer first aid and CPR when necessary
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
• Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups of various ages and abilities
• Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety practices
• Assist in maintaining pool cleanliness and performing basic pool maintenance tasks
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on lifesaving techniques and safety protocols
• Complete accurate reports of incidents, accidents, and rescues
• Communicate effectively with patrons, staff, and management
• Assist in organizing and supervising aquatic events and activities

• Strong swimming abilities and physical fitness to perform water rescues
• Current lifeguard certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a lifeguard and/or swimming instructor preferred
• Excellent observation skills and ability to remain alert at all times
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of water safety protocols and procedures
• Ability to use and maintain lifesaving equipment
• Basic understanding of pool maintenance and water chemistry
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions and withstand prolonged sun exposure
• Commitment to ongoing training and professional development in aquatic safety and instruction
