This position plays an integral role in developing life enrichment calendars, social opportunities, special events, and excursions that are unique to the residents. Here, every day is different and exciting!

You will spend your days playing games, doing arts and crafts, cooking, baking, playing cards, exercising, assisting and participating in music therapy, pet therapy, intergenerational programming with on-site Kids Country Childcare & Learning Center, and so much more. The incumbent of this role will be awarded the special ability to build meaningful and lasting relationships with residents, as they will spend their days together. Whether 1:1 time, small group, or large group activities, your entire day will be built around enriching the lives of the residents and families we serve.  

As a Life Enrichment Programmer, you'll:

Become familiar with each resident in an effort to provide recreational and social opportunities that meet their individualized wants and needs

Use your creativity to come up with new activities, games, socials, etc. for residents to enjoy

Lead/host activities and special events

Plan day trips and accompany/transport residents to and from these fun excursions

This is job is as fun as it is rewarding! The right candidate will have a caring and outgoing personality, with a preferred special interest in serving the elderly. Experience with Memory loss is preferred but not required.
