Key Responsibilities
Template Design & Development
Design customizable digital “life book” templates (PowerPoint, Canva, or similar platforms) that function as digital scrapbooks.
Create layouts that are warm, simple, and easy for non-design staff to use.
Develop multiple page styles (cover pages, story pages, milestones, memories, achievements, etc.)
Ensure templates are accessible, consistent in design, and printable.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with the SNAPP Manager and frontline staff to understand program needs and workflow.
Incorporate feedback and revise templates as required.
Provide basic instructions or guidance to staff on how to use the templates.
Quality & Sensitivity
Apply trauma-informed and culturally respectful design principles.
Maintain confidentiality of all program and client information.
Ensure designs reflect KCR’s values and child-focused practice.

Experience creating digital templates using Canva, PowerPoint, or similar tools.
Strong visual design skills with attention to detail.
Ability to translate ideas into practical, easy-to-use templates.
Comfortable collaborating with non-technical staff.
Organized, responsive, and able to meet project deadlines.
Experience working with community services or child-centred programs is considered an asset.
