Job Description

Job Title: Lien Negotiator

Job Description: The Lien Negotiator manages and negotiates medical liens during the settlement and closing of Personal Injury cases. This role centers on lien resolution, settlement disbursements, and collaborating with legal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Review medical bills, liens, and settlement documents.

• Negotiate medical liens with providers and lienholders.

• Prepare lien allocation and settlement disbursement summaries.

• Handle a high volume of active settlement cases.

• Work closely with Case Managers and Attorneys to close cases.

• Maintain precise lien and settlement records using Filevine.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience in lien negotiation (preferably in a law firm) or Personal Injury case closing roles.

• Proven track record in negotiating medical liens.

• Ability to manage multiple cases at once.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with Filevine is preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
