Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Prosthetist / Orthotist (CPO / LPO) to deliver comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic services in a patient-centered clinical setting. This role involves conducting evaluations, developing customized care plans, fabricating and fitting devices, and providing ongoing follow-up to enhance patient mobility and functional independence.
The ideal clinician demonstrates strong clinical judgment, collaborative teamwork with interdisciplinary providers, and a commitment to ethical, high-quality care across diverse patient populations.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform detailed patient assessments and create individualized prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans
• Design, fabricate, and adjust custom prosthetic limbs and orthotic braces to optimize function and comfort
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and rehabilitation teams to coordinate patient care
• Provide patient and caregiver education on device application, maintenance, and safety
• Monitor clinical progress and modify devices as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with healthcare and insurance standards
• Ensure adherence to state licensure requirements and professional ethical guidelines
Requirements:
• Active Pennsylvania Licensed Prosthetist Orthotist (LPO) credential
• Certification through ABC or BOC required
• Clinical experience in prosthetics and orthotics preferred
• Strong patient evaluation and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to patient-focused, ethical practice
