Job Description

Are you interested in joining Walmart's Health & Wellness team as a dedicated and customer-focused Licensed Optician in Stafford, Virginia, where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional vision care to customers while upholding Walmart's high standards of service and professionalism as part of their optical department?

What You’ll Do:

• Assist patients in selecting the right eyewear to meet their vision needs and personal style
• Verify and interpret prescriptions
• Take accurate measurements and ensure proper fit of eyewear
• Educate customers on lens options, frame styling, and proper eyewear care
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as Walmart policies
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly environment

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia State License as a Licensed Optician / Registered Spectacle Lens Dispenser
• ABO (American Board of Opticianry) or NCLE (National Contact Lens Examiners) Certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A passion for helping people see better and feel confident in their eyewear
