Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Location: Hawaii
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are looking for a Hawaii-licensed LMHC to provide remote therapy for clients seeking support with mental health, emotional wellness, and everyday life challenges. This position allows you to deliver professional counseling services from a private remote workspace while maintaining a consistent full-time schedule. The role includes clinical assessments, therapy sessions, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and proper documentation. It is a strong fit for a counselor who wants to stay focused on client care in a telehealth setting.
Responsibilities
• Complete assessments and determine appropriate treatment direction
• Help clients work through anxiety, depression, stress, grief, trauma, and relationship-related concerns
• Use appropriate counseling techniques based on client needs
• Set treatment goals and review progress during ongoing care
• Keep session notes and client records accurate and up to date
• Protect client confidentiality in all remote communications
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Active LMHC license in Hawaii
• Previous counseling or psychotherapy experience
• Ability to provide care through a virtual platform
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
