Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are looking for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide remote therapy services to clients in New York. This role is focused on helping clients work through relationship issues, family stress, emotional concerns, and life situations that may feel difficult to manage alone.
In a typical day, you will meet with clients by video, guide therapy sessions, document progress, and help clients develop healthier ways to communicate, cope, and make decisions. This position is ideal for an LMFT who wants a full-time remote role with a clear schedule, steady client work, and a professional clinical environment.
Responsibilities
• Provide remote therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families
• Complete client intakes, assessments, and treatment planning
• Support clients with family conflict, relationship stress, grief, anxiety, depression, and major life changes
• Help clients set realistic therapy goals and review progress over time
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and required documentation
• Use secure telehealth tools and electronic records systems
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and all applicable New York clinical practice standards
• Manage session preparation, follow-up notes, and care-related tasks in a timely way
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related clinical field
• Active LMFT license in the state of New York
• Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
• Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with EHR systems
• Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency
