Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Location: New York
Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $115,000 to $120,000 a year
Job Summary
We are hiring a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide virtual therapy services to individuals, couples, and families across New York. This role focuses on helping clients manage emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns through structured, evidence-based care delivered in a telehealth setting. The day-to-day work includes conducting assessments, building treatment plans, holding consistent therapy sessions, and documenting care accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
• Provide telehealth therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and establish treatment goals
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Coordinate with other providers or support systems when appropriate
• Follow all clinical, ethical, and legal standards for remote care
Requirements:
• Active New York LMFT license in good standing
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
• Experience providing psychotherapy in outpatient or telehealth settings preferred
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
• Ability to manage a full-time caseload independently
