Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Location: Alabama
Setting: Remote/Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 a year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in this remote position, you will deliver therapy that helps clients improve communication, manage conflict, strengthen relationships, and work through emotional and behavioral concerns. This role is centered on practical clinical care. You will meet with clients virtually, identify treatment goals, provide counseling sessions, document progress, and help clients build healthier patterns at home and in their relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct virtual intake assessments and ongoing therapy sessions
• Work with couples, families, and individual clients through telehealth
• Help clients address communication issues, conflict, stress, and behavioral concerns
• Keep session notes and records complete and up to date
• Review client progress regularly and revise treatment plans when appropriate
• Maintain confidentiality and meet all professional practice standards
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or related discipline
• Active LMHC license in good standing
• Experience with counseling adults in a clinical or telehealth setting preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of treatment planning and evidence-based therapeutic approaches
• Ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote environment
