Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Job Summary
This full-time LMFT role offers the chance to provide therapy from a remote setting while working with clients across Maryland. The work is practical, people-focused, and consistent: you will hold scheduled virtual sessions, help clients understand the challenges affecting their relationships and family systems, and support them in making realistic changes over time.
You may work with couples trying to improve communication, families facing ongoing conflict, individuals managing stress or emotional pain, and clients adjusting to major life changes. The position is ideal for an LMFT who wants a stable weekday schedule and a role centered on direct client care.
Location: Maryland
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Responsibilities
• Deliver remote therapy services through a secure telehealth system.
• Work with individuals, couples, and families on treatment goals.
• Conduct assessments and gather relevant clinical history.
• Create, review, and update treatment plans.
• Help clients address communication patterns, relationship issues, family conflict, stress, trauma, anxiety, and adjustment concerns.
• Complete progress notes and required documentation accurately.
• Maintain professional standards for confidentiality and virtual care.
• Manage appointments and client communication with reliability and professionalism.
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Active Maryland LMFT license in good standing.
• Previous experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families.
• Comfortable delivering care through secure telehealth platforms.
• Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a full-time caseload in a remote setting.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
