Opening Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide telehealth therapy services to clients in Florida. This role is based remotely and allows clinicians to focus on direct client care in a professional, organized setting.
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
This position focuses on helping clients better understand their relationships, communication patterns, emotional responses, and family dynamics. As an LMFT, you will provide virtual therapy sessions, complete assessments, build treatment plans, and help clients work toward healthier day-to-day functioning.
The work is structured, client-centered, and remote. You will use your clinical training to support people through real concerns while maintaining clear records and consistent therapeutic care.
Core Responsibilities
• Provide telehealth therapy to individuals, couples, and families
• Conduct clinical intake sessions and ongoing assessments
• Create treatment plans with realistic, measurable goals
• Address concerns such as family conflict, relationship strain, anxiety, grief, adjustment issues, and communication challenges
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and treatment updates
• Use appropriate therapy interventions based on client needs
• Follow Florida telehealth and clinical practice requirements
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Active Florida LMFT license in good standing
• Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to manage a full-time remote caseload
• Private workspace and reliable internet connection
