Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Location: South Dakota
Setting: Remote/Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 a year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide high-quality remote counseling services to clients in South Dakota. This role centers on helping people better understand themselves, their relationships, and the patterns affecting their home and family life. You’ll work with clients through secure virtual sessions and provide practical, goal-focused therapy that supports long-term emotional and relational health.
Responsibilities
• Provide scheduled telehealth therapy sessions
• Work with individuals, couples, and families on relational and emotional concerns
• Perform clinical assessments and develop treatment goals
• Guide clients through conflict resolution, communication improvement, stress management, and life transitions
• Maintain organized and timely progress notes
• Follow professional standards for confidentiality, ethics, and client care
• Use clinical judgment to refer clients for additional support when needed
Requirements:
• Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist license in South Dakota
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
• Strong understanding of ethical, legal, and clinical documentation requirements
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
