Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
In this role, you will provide therapy to clients through secure video sessions and help them make progress on the issues that matter most to them. Some clients may be trying to manage stress or anxiety. Others may be working through grief, trauma, relationship strain, low mood, or big life changes.
As the LICSW, you will bring structure to the process. You will assess needs, set goals with the client, guide sessions, and document care clearly. The remote setting gives you flexibility, but the heart of the work remains the same: helping people feel more capable of handling what life is asking of them.
Responsibilities
• Hold one-on-one therapy sessions through a secure telehealth platform
• Build trust with clients through clear, respectful, and professional communication
• Complete clinical evaluations and identify presenting concerns
• Work with clients to set goals that are specific and achievable
• Provide therapy that matches the client’s symptoms, readiness, and clinical needs
• Help clients practice healthier responses to stress, conflict, emotional overwhelm, and difficult experiences
• Update treatment plans as clients make progress or new concerns arise
• Complete progress notes and required documentation within expected timelines
• Follow all legal, ethical, and privacy requirements for remote therapy
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work
• Active North Dakota LICSW license in good standing
• Previous experience providing therapy or clinical social work services
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
• Ability to manage a full-time remote caseload with professionalism and good judgment
