We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Audiologist to join a patient-focused medical practice serving the Huguenot, NY community. This full-time clinical position emphasizes high-quality hearing healthcare through detailed diagnostic testing, personalized treatment planning, and patient education. The Audiologist will support a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to improving hearing wellness outcomes for patients visiting our Huguenot, NY office. The Audiologist will conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, assist with device selection and programming, and provide counseling on hearing health management. Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic audiological testing and complete detailed hearing assessments for patients in Huguenot, NY.
• Select, fit, and program hearing aids and assistive listening technologies according to individual patient needs.
• Provide education and counseling regarding hearing loss prevention, device operation, and treatment options in Huguenot.
• Deliver ongoing patient follow-up care, device maintenance support, and technical troubleshooting services in Huguenot, NY.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records, clinical documentation, and evaluation reports.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, clinical professionals, and support staff to enhance patient service quality.
• Participate in clinical meetings, workflow optimization efforts, and best practice initiatives.
• Follow New York State licensing standards and organizational healthcare compliance policies.
Requirements:
• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master’s degree in Audiology meeting New York licensure requirements.
• Active or eligibility for New York State Audiology licensure.
• Strong experience conducting hearing evaluations and hearing aid fittings.
• Excellent communication, patient education, and counseling abilities.
• Familiarity with audiology diagnostic equipment, EMR platforms, and clinical software systems.
• Ability to manage patient care responsibilities independently while supporting a team-based clinic in Huguenot.
