Level Designer - Monopoly GO!

Scopely is looking for a Game Designer to join our Monopoly GO! team in Barcelona!

In this role, you’ll focus on designing, building, and tuning live minigames enjoyed by millions of players around the world. You’ll be hands-on with the creation and configuration of minigame levels, pacing, and reward flow, ensuring every experience feels polished, balanced, and fun.

You’ll work closely with other designers, artists, and engineers to bring minigames to life and deliver new, high quality content as part of live operations. This is a highly creative and execution focused position ideal for a designer who loves crafting player experiences directly in game.

What You’ll Do

• Design, configure, and tune levels for our live-operated minigames.

• Build and maintain designer configurations and gameplay setups for recurring events and new minigame types.

• Prototype, playtest, and iterate on gameplay and level layouts to achieve the best balance and pacing.

• Analyze playtest and live data to contribute to tuning and difficulty adjustments.

• Document and maintain clear and detailed GDDs to ensure consistency across updates.

• Support the live content schedule by preparing new and refreshed minigame designs on time.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in game or level design.

• Someone who loves Monopoly Go!

• Strong understanding of level design fundamentals.

• Able to handle the fast paced and iterative processes of mobile live operations.

• Comfortable iterating quickly based on data and feedback.

• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

• Passion for F2P mobile games and an understanding of what keeps players engaged.
