Position Summary:
Leo Cancer Care is looking for an Installation Engineer to join the growing Order Fulfilment Team. The Installation Engineer needs to be a dynamic and solution-focused individual who can work as part of a team and individually. This is a customer-facing role where the highest level of professionalism is required. This role will require regular international travel to our rapidly growing number of customer sites around the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team to install Leo Cancer Care systems within the product portfolio to the required specification and quality within the project timescales.
Complete mechanical and electrical installations of Leo Cancer Care products
Completion of installation documentation and Device Acceptance Testing.
Meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) of Order Fulfilment Hardware Installation for your position
Submit timely and accurately; expense reports, film badges, and all job required administrative duties.
Operate in accordance with the Leo Cancer Care quality system and complete the administration requirements of the role in a timely and accurate manner
Manage own workload
Provide every customer with high quality service and attention throughout the installation process
Always follow Leo Cancer Cares quality and safety policies
Be prepared to work as required at times and locations dictated by the needs of Leo Cancer Care and the customer
Provide feedback to the Installation Manager regarding any issues, solutions or opportunities which may need to be communicated to other parts of the organization
Identify and implement improvements that enhances the customer’s satisfaction
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all Leo Cancer Care products
Contribute to design meetings, improvement projects and training of other staff as directed.
Contribute to process design and improvements.
Other duties as assigned from time to time
Physical Requirements:
Comfortable working on a customer site environment
Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50
Relevant Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
3+ years of experience in complex medical device installation or manufacturing with experience in working in a highly regulated, fast paced and compliance-oriented environment.
Background in STEM
Able to read technical drawings, both mechanical and system / electrical schematics Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Problem-solving skills to anticipate issues and handle them appropriately when they do
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple moving pieces with flexibility
Highly motivated and have good problem-solving skills. Strong customer focus and have excellent customer service skills required
A good communicator at all levels, written and verbal output shall be concise and accurate
Ability to represent the organization in a professional and positive manner.
Ability to work in time-sensitive and deadline driven environment.
Must reside within 1 hour of a major airport with ability for international connections.
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as required for the role, up to 80% of the time. Anticipating possible extended amounts of time away or short stays at home.
Possess a passport for international travel.
Knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage but can be taught.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Forklift operation certification is a plus, but not necessary, will provide training.
