Leo Cancer Care: Field Service Engineer Level III

Position Title: Field Service Engineer - France

Reports to: Global Head of Customer Success

FT/PT: Full-time

Location : Lyon, France

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our growing field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site evaluation, maintenance, and repair services initially for our Upright CT and Patient Positioning devices, and other products as LCC brings them to market. You will work closely with our customers to ensure optimal performance and reliability of their equipment, while also identifying opportunities for product improvements and service enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced, total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and service repair needs on all Leo Cancer Care products.

Interface with key customer contacts on equipment issues. Acts to ensure satisfaction to primary customers. Maintaining communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to customer satisfaction.

Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service reports and internal service records in a timely manner.

Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated.

Identify Sales opportunities and communicate to sales team and assist in the growth and direction of business in his/her geographic area.

Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient and cost-effective service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area.

Responsible for Warranty and Service Agreement cost control.

Administration: Responsibly completes all administration tasks on time. Ensures timely completion of Field Change Orders (FCOs) and Planned Maintenance (PM) inspections documentation for assigned accounts.

Teach and assist other Field Engineers on advanced and complex troubleshooting and technical fixes, plays a leading role on complex and multifunctional system fixes.

Installation: Plays a leading role in complex and multifunctional rooms.                                                                          

Relevant Knowledge and Skill requirements:

Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline (Electronics, Mechatronics, Software, etc.) preferred, associate’s degree, technical/vocational training, military experience with electronics or relevant domain experience

A good understanding of a service operation

Good external customer-facing skills

Proven experience maintaining complex electro-mechanical systems.

Experience with medical devices such as Linear accelerators, MRI, CT or similar modalities an advantage.

An effective team player, able to use expert knowledge to influence and provide guidance to the business.

Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

Excellent trouble-shooting skills

Willing to work normal and non-normal hours as required to support customers.

Comfortable working collaboratively and autonomously as required.

Good working knowledge of MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Experience working with Salesforce is beneficial.

A valid driving license is required.

Able to travel internationally.
