We are looking for a lawyer to join the Global Contracts Legal (GCL) team in Gdansk, Poland. In this role you will provide legal support to State Street’s global business units and corporate functions, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of agreements, supporting key Legal Department initiatives and providing related legal support services.

What you will be responsible for
As Legal Specialist you will be
• Drafting and negotiating legal contracts governed by the laws of various jurisdictions in accordance with relevant trainings and guidelines;
• Working with internal legal and business colleagues to address various legal and corporate initiatives and resolving legal issues;
• Co-operating in interesing projects and handing deadlines simultaneously with careful legal analysis and attention to detail;
• Acting as a trusted adviser to State Street business units.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Law school graduate in any jurisdiction (attorney-at-law license is a plus);
• One (1) year or more of legal experience;
• Previous contract negotiation experience is a plus.
Please Note: This role requires a minimum of 3 days of working from office
Minimum Salary:
zł68,004 Annual
The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
