The Role
We are looking for a warm, organized, and professional Legal Receptionist to be the face and voice of our firm. As the first point of contact for our clients — many of whom are navigating stressful and emotional situations — you will play a vital role in ensuring every person feels heard, respected, and supported.
Key Responsibilities
Greet clients, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner
Answer and direct a high volume of incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
Maintain and update client intake forms and case management records
Manage front desk correspondence, including emails, faxes, and mail
Coordinate with attorneys and legal staff to relay messages and manage scheduling
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming
Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor's degree a plus
2-4 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer-facing role
Prior experience in a law firm or medical office is a bonus, but not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with legal software (e.g., Litify, MyCase) is a plus
Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
