About the Role
Provide hands-on, solution-oriented legal guidance on fintech, banking and financial services products; design and implement legal and regulatory frameworks for new offerings; prepare legal opinions on banking, BaaS, payment services, e-money, financing and capital markets matters; support licensing, regulatory filings, share transfers and change-of-control processes; monitor regulatory developments to ensure compliance; and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enable compliant and operationally ready processes.

Responsibilities:
• Provide hands on, solution oriented legal guidance on banking, financing, BaaS and other fintech related products and services.
• Design and implement legal frameworks for new offerings, including regulatory analysis and drafting, reviewing and negotiating related documentation.
• Prepare legal opinions on banking regulations with a focus on BaaS processes, payment services & e-money, financing and capital markets regulatory matters.
• Support regulatory filings and corporate processes for the establishment, licensing, share transfers and changes of control of regulated financial institutions.
• Track regulatory developments and ensure compliance with Banking Law, Law No. 6493, Law No. 6361, AML and capital markets regulations.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure compliant processes and operational readiness.

Expected Qualifications:
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as in-house counsel in a bank, financing company, payment or e-money institution or as a legal counsel in a reputable law firm focusing on banking and finance, fintech regulations and/or capital markets regulations.
• Hands-on experience or strong knowledge in banking operations, preferably BaaS implementations.
• Knowledge and experience with Law No. 6361 and financing company regulations and operations, payment and e money institution operations and Law No. 6493 is highly preferred.
• Experience or familiarity with capital markets regulations and investment services, including their operational models and regulatory requirements, is an asset.
• Strong legal drafting, reasoning and analytical skills together with excellent research and follow up abilities.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work hands on with business teams in fast paced environments.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, strict deadlines and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
