Hire Resolve is assisting legal organisations in hiring experienced legal professionals for multiple mid–senior level opportunities across a range of practice areas and in-house functions within the UAE. This is a multi-role hiring campaign designed to attract candidates across private practice and corporate environments, with progression pathways toward senior specialist and leadership roles such as Senior Legal Counsel, Head of Legal, Legal Manager, Compliance Lead, Contracts Manager, or Legal Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders and/or clients across operational and strategic matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents (e.g., commercial agreements, construction/engineering contracts, supply agreements, NDAs, leases, service agreements)
• Support matters across corporate/commercial, employment, disputes, regulatory, compliance, real estate, procurement, or governance (aligned to experience)
• Assist with legal risk assessments and recommend pragmatic mitigations aligned to business objectives
• Manage external counsel and advisors, including budgets, timelines, and matter strategy
• Support dispute management, including pre-action correspondence, document preparation, settlement discussions, and claim support (as applicable)
• Contribute to compliance frameworks, internal policies, and controls, including monitoring regulatory updates and implementing practical guidance
• Ensure appropriate confidentiality, document retention, and information handling across legal workstreams
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Operations, and Project teams to improve legal processes and decision-making
• Maintain accurate matter records, reporting, and contract documentation using relevant systems
• Coach junior team members and promote consistent quality and professional standards
Requirements:
• Qualifications (role-dependent):
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal degree; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous for certain roles
• For counsel/advocate roles: relevant professional qualification and licensing/eligibility to practise in the UAE or in recognised jurisdictions (depending on role scope)
• For contracts, compliance, or legal operations roles: strong relevant experience may be considered in lieu of local practising rights
• Experience: Typically 6–12+ years of progressive legal experience (in-house and/or private practice), suited to mid–senior level responsibilities
• Demonstrated capability in one or more areas such as commercial contracts, corporate governance, construction/projects, employment advisory, compliance, regulatory, disputes, or real estate
• Strong drafting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and risk-based judgement
• Familiarity with legal tools and systems (where relevant), including document management, contract lifecycle management (CLM), matter management, and Microsoft 365
• Language: Professional fluency in English is required; Arabic is advantageous for certain positions depending on stakeholder and document requirements
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain discretion, and operate effectively in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments
