Legal Product Manager @Plato (backed by Hexa)

Plato is building the OS for litigation lawyers.

With GenAI, the legal industry is on the verge of a major transformation. Litigation lawyers are overwhelmed by complex and repetitive tasks: complex damage calculations, thousands of documents to review, days spent drafting legal documents, and more.

⚡Our mission: Build the leading OS for litigation lawyers, enabling lawyers to spend 5x less time on administrative and operational work, and focus instead on strategy and advocacy.

Plato already supports around ten law firms and 1 major insurance’s legal team specialized in personal injury, who use our solution daily to manage hundreds of active cases.

Founded in January 2026 by Ben (CEO) and Alexandre (CTO), we are backed by Hexa (formerly eFounders), Europe’s leading startup studio. Hexa has launched over 35 companies, including unicorns such as Front, Aircall, and Spendesk, collectively generating more than €230M in ARR and raising over €750M in funding.

Plato is already live with real users and real data, solving concrete legal workflows in production. We’re now entering a key building phase and looking for someone ready to take real ownership and help shape the product, architecture, and engineering culture from day one: our first Software Engineer.

About the role

The Mission: Bridge the gap between Law and Code
As our first Legal Product Manager, you will be the brain at the intersection of legal expertise and product innovation. You won't just only "suggest" features; you will prototype them.

Your responsibilities:
•Product Strategy: Partner with the CEO and CTO to define the roadmap. You are the voice lawyers in the room, ensuring we build what the market actually needs.
•The "Builder" Lab: You will use No-Code tools and GenAI (Claude Code, etc.) to build experimental tools and prototypes for lawyers. You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty to prove a concept.
•Product Evolution: Maintain and improve existing experimental products, iterating based on user feedback, your own legal intuition and new technical possibilities.
•User Feedback & Ops: Track platform usage and structure user feedback into actionable product insights. You turn a lawyer’s "I wish it did this" into a technical "How-To."

The Profile we are looking for:
• The Legal Foundation: You are a French Lawyer (Avocat) with 3 to 5 years of experience in a demanding environment (Top-tier law firm, litigation, or complex claims). You know the pain of the "paperwork" because you’ve lived it.
• The Tech Enthusiast: You don't just use software; you wonder how it's built. You are passionate about SaaS, GenAI, and the radical impact AI is having on the legal world.
• The "Technical" Lawyer: You are highly skilled with computers. You’ve experimented with No-Code, or you’re the type of person who can build a tool from scratch using Claude Code or Cursor.
• Bonus Point: You are comfortable with data analysis (SQL, Python, or just being an Excel wizard) to back your product decisions with numbers.
