We are looking for a Legal Operations Assistant to support and take ownership of operational and administrative tasks within the Legal Operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the development and improvement of the Legal & Compliance team processes and procedures.

The role

As a Legal Operations Assistant in our Niš office, you will be part of a talented, skilled, and ambitious team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations and service delivery of the Legal and Compliance teams by providing administrative support, contributing to process optimization and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) initiatives, and assisting with reporting activities.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job responsibilities

• Support Legal Operations initiatives across Better Collective’s network;

• Assist in the development and implementation of workflows and business processes;

• Map team processes and workflows and analyze them to identify pain points and inefficiencies;

• Identify and help develop automation solutions using low-code or no-code tools such as Zapier;

• Assist in generating reports and analyses as required;

• Provide general administrative support to the Group Legal and Compliance team, including ad hoc clerical tasks, to support overall team efficiency and effectiveness.

Ideal candidate

• Will have excellent organizational skills, structured and methodical working style;

• Will have excellent interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and business stakeholders;

• Will have an eye for accuracy and be highly detail-oriented;

• Will have good analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Will have strong administrative and presentation skills;

• Will be dedicated, proactive, adaptable and keen to learn;

• Will be fluent in English ;

• Previous experience in administrative support, business operations, or process optimization is considered an advantage. However, it is not mandatory, provided the candidate demonstrates strong analytical potential, a structured mindset, and a willingness to learn and develop within the role;

• A good understanding of Google Workspace (GSuite), process automation and basic AI tools is considered a strong advantage.
