Valleysoft | Center of Excellence is currently seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Legal Officer / Legal Executive to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal support to the organization, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while managing legal risks.
The successful candidate will have a background in corporate law, contracts, and compliance, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. If you are passionate about providing legal advice and support to help organizations navigate legal challenges, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
• Prepare, review, and manage all legal documents submitted to or received from government authorities.
• Handle and follow up on legal cases related to the company.
• Coordinate with external lawyers, legal consultants, and government offices.
• Ensure company compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and government requirements.
• Draft legal letters, notices, agreements, and reports as required.
• Represent the company in meetings, hearings, and discussions with government bodies and legal parties.
• Maintain proper records of legal documents, cases, and correspondence.
• Provide legal advice and support to management when needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field; a Master’s degree or legal certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal role.
• Good knowledge of government procedures, legal documentation, and case handling.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
• Good organizational and documentation skills.
• Professional attitude and high level of confidentiality.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience dealing directly with government authorities.
• Court or case presentation experience.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
