We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Docketing Specialist to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This is a full-time, salaried position offering a hybrid schedule of 3–4 days per week onsite.
In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting attorneys and legal staff by managing case deadlines, maintaining accurate docket records, and ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures. The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and experienced in navigating complex litigation calendars across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage legal docketing systems, including tracking deadlines, court dates, and key case milestones
•
Review court filings, correspondence, and legal documents to identify and calendar critical deadlines
•
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all docket entries across multiple jurisdictions
•
Monitor changes to court rules and procedures and update internal systems accordingly
•
Communicate deadlines and schedule updates to attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
•
Coordinate with legal teams to support case planning and workflow management
•
Generate reports related to upcoming deadlines, case statuses, and docket activity
•
Perform quality control checks to ensure compliance with internal policies and external court requirements
•
Assist with maintaining documentation and records in accordance with firm standards
•
Provide general administrative support related to docketing and case management as needed
Qualifications:
•
Bachelor’s degree OR paralegal certificate OR 5 to 8 years of docketing experience in lieu of the degree/certificate
•
Minimum of 5 years of legal docketing experience either at a law firm or in-house legal department
•
Familiarity with federal, state, and local court rules and filing procedures
•
Experience using docketing or case management systems (e.g., CompuLaw, CourtAlert, Milana or similar)
•
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•
Excellent organizational and time management skills
•
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel
•
Effective written and verbal communication skills
•
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
•
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
