Job Responsibilities:
• Handle all police reports (محاضر) relating to company operations, including lost shipments, damage claims, fraud incidents, and operational disputes.
• Represent the company before police stations and follow up on all procedures until referral to prosecution.
• Draft, file, and respond to criminal complaints, ensuring proper documentation and evidence submission.
• Attend investigations before the Public Prosecution (النيابة العامة) and manage all related proceedings.
• Prepare legal memoranda, defenses, and supporting documentation for ongoing investigations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather evidence, witness statements, and operational records required for investigations.
• Represent the company before all competent courts, including economic, civil, commercial, misdemeanor, and administrative courts.
• Manage the full lifecycle of cases, including filing, pleadings, hearings, expert appointments, judgments, and enforcement.
• Draft and submit legal briefs, motions, appeals, and memoranda in a timely and structured manner.
• Liaise with and manage external law firms and court agents where required, ensuring alignment with company strategy and cost efficiency.
• Assess litigation risks and provide strategic recommendations to minimize financial and reputational exposure.
• Negotiate settlements where appropriate and manage execution of settlement agreements.
• Initiate and follow up on enforcement proceedings for favorable judgments, including seizure, attachment, and execution processes.
• Prepare periodic litigation reports, including risk assessments
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.).
• 3–5 years of experience in litigation.
• Strong background in litigation, preferably within logistics, transportation, or commercial sectors.
• Solid knowledge of Egyptian criminal and civil procedures.
• Experience dealing with police reports, prosecution, and court proceedings.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and case management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
