Legal Business Operations Support

As a Legal Business Operations Support, you will assist the team in answering clients requests and ensuring that the company operates within regulatory frameworks and in accordance with internal policies. You will help maintain essential documentation, and contribute to overall regulatory reporting processes. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates looking to start a career in regulatory affairs.

This position is based in Girona and reports to our VP Operational Center of Excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and reviewing internal processes to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Support the development and maintenance of internal documentation, registers, and reports.
• Help coordinate internal audits, regulatory inspections, and relevant training sessions.
• Conduct preliminary research on regulatory changes and help assess potential impacts.
• Maintain accurate records and files to ensure data integrity and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather information for reporting purposes.
• Assist in handling internal queries related to company policies and standards.
• Drafting AML letters.
• Monitoring of Beneficial owners change for our client base, review and completion of UBO forms when required.
• Drafting of due diligence reports on the counterparties to our clients ecosystem.
• Coordinating with funds RC (AML responsible) regarding KPIs.
• Answering simple client queries assigned to the candidate.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in compliance, legal, or risk functions (internships welcome).
• Basic knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML/KYC, GDPR, MiFID, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Google Suite.
