About the Role

We are looking for a Legal Operations Assistant to support Japan Legal team. In this role, you will provide support for Legal Counsels. You will receive clear guidance and support from the team. Role Responsibilities

You will support the team across a range of administrative and coordination tasks, including:

• Organising and filing documents in digital and paper formats
• Checking documents for completeness, formatting, and basic accuracy
• Supporting seal (捺印) workflows
• Obtaining corporate registry (登記簿, 印鑑証明) from the Legal Affairs Bureau
• Coordinating and adjusting schedules for meetings and internal discussions
• Editing and formatting simple documents
• Supporting light translation-related tasks such as comparison, retyping, or formatting
• Assisting with basic corporate secretarial errands
• Providing general administrative support to the Japan Legal team

Qualifications

We encourage applications from candidates who are interested in a supportive role and enjoy organised, process-based work.

• Ability to follow clear instructions and established processes
• Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• A reliable and cooperative approach to working with others
• Proficiency in Japanese

Preferred experience:

• Basic English skills (reading and writing)
• Experience in an administrative or support role
