Join our team as a Legal Assistant supporting foreclosure sales and post‑sale processes. This role focuses on managing case files, preparing legal documents, coordinating with courts and third‑party sale officials, and ensuring all actions comply with state laws and client requirements.
What You’ll Do
Prepare and file foreclosure sale documents, notices, bidding instructions, and confirmations
Coordinate with courts, sheriffs, master commissioners, auctioneers, and vendors
Track foreclosure sale timelines and ensure all steps are completed accurately and on time
Conduct bankruptcy and military status searches
Support attorneys and respond to client inquiries
Review property details, legal descriptions, taxes, and lien information
Maintain accurate updates in the Case Management System and client portals
Handle post‑sale tasks including deeds, surplus funds, and confirmation filings
Perform e‑filing, mailing, and other administrative duties as needed
What You Bring
1–3 years of experience as a legal assistant (foreclosure experience preferred)
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time‑management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
Familiarity with foreclosure sales processes is a plus
Paralegal certificate or degree preferred
Work Environment
Office‑based role requiring extended computer use and multitasking across multiple monitors
