Compensation: $85-$120 per hour
We are collaborating with a leading AI research organization to develop high-quality legal reasoning data for next-generation AI systems. We are seeking Transactional and Corporate-focused Legal AI Specialists to contribute expertise across M&A, contracts, securities, and corporate governance. In this role, you will design realistic deal scenarios, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and help improve how advanced models reason about complex transactional matters.
This opportunity is ideal for early-career transactional attorneys and corporate legal professionals with strong drafting, analytical, and review capabilities.
Requirements:
What You’ll Do
• Design realistic deal scenarios based on transactional practice, including M&A due diligence, SPAs/APAs, securities filings, NDAs, governance, and disclosure schedules
• Draft “gold standard” responses at attorney-level quality to guide AI model training
• Evaluate and grade AI-generated outputs using structured rubrics and legal/commercial standards
• Provide detailed written feedback to improve model accuracy, reasoning, and consistency
• Participate in onboarding sessions, office hours, and specialty calibration discussions
Who You Are
• 1–4 years of professional experience in transactional or corporate law (law firm, in-house, or similar environment)
• Hold a J.D. (U.S./Canada) or LL.B./LL.M. (U.K.) from an accredited institution
• Licensed to practice law in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom (active or inactive)
• Strong experience in contract review, due diligence, corporate governance, NDA drafting, or securities filings
• Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
Bonus Qualifications
• Experience preparing disclosure schedules or managing closing checklists
• Exposure to private equity, venture capital, or fund formation work
• Familiarity with SEC reporting or securities offerings
• Experience using virtual data rooms (e.g., Intralinks, Datasite)
Role Highlights
• Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week (40+ hours preferred)
• Fully remote with flexible scheduling

Compensation
• Competitive hourly rate: $85–$120 per hour
