We're on a mission to provide young minds, locally and globally, with life-changing adventures and a chance to cultivate a social conscience. We are looking for an experienced Data Science / AI Educator or Industry Professional to teach our Introduction to Applied Data Science course for learners aged 16+. This 30 hour programme introduces learners to how data is used to understand real-world questions and communicate insights clearly. Teaching is practical, collaborative, and project-based, helping students build confidence with data through hands-on tasks and team investigation.
The programme will be running from 18th May - 27th June. Sessions will be held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons 1pm-5.30pm.
Key responsibilities:
Design, adapt, and deliver engaging lesson materials in line with the prepared course specification

Support learners in team-based Agile project work and sprint reviews
Help students translate findings into clear visual stories and presentations
Provide formative feedback on student outputs, teamwork, and communication
Differentiate delivery for learners with varied academic, linguistic, and technical backgrounds
Maintain accurate records of session delivery and student engagement
Liaise with fellow lecturers and programme management regarding student progress and pastoral or academic concerns
Keep up to date with developments in applied data science, AI literacy, and pedagogy
