Lecturer - Fine Arts (Level 4-9 programmes)
The Opportunity in Art and Design at Whitecliffe
We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and creative exhibiting Artist (Painting) and lecturer to join our Fine Arts faculty in Auckland. Teaching, assessment, curriculum development, research, and student support are the primary duties and responsibilities of the role.

You are passionate about your students and your team and are driven to helping them achieve the best possible outcomes. You are a collaborative colleague and an inspiring educator with experience as an exhibiting artist and mentor.
You will be responsible for delivering top quality educational programme(s) using leading edge concepts, practices and methodologies to maximise Whitecliffe students’ career and further education opportunities.
What you will bring:
A student centric approach to teaching with experience in a tertiary level environment
Postgraduate level (preferably Masters) qualification in in a Fine Arts or relevant and related discipline.
A portfolio of work as an exhibiting artist (with painting being the primary medium)
The ability to relate with students from a diverse range of backgrounds and learning styles
Genuine passion for Arts education and fostering creativity.
The right to work and live in New Zealand or be eligible and willing to obtain such rights
