What you'll get to do:
We’re seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Learning and Development Manager to elevate our teams in sales, estimating, and customer service across the glass and metal building supply industry. This role blends hands-on technical expertise with engaging instructional delivery, helping our teams master product knowledge, customer engagement, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver training programs focused on product knowledge, technical applications, estimating tools, and customer service best practices.
• Collaborate with sales, estimating, and customer service teams to identify skill gaps and tailor training solutions.
• Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs.
• Travel to locations (approx. 30%) to provide on-site training and support.
• Develop training materials including manuals, e-learning modules, and job aids.
• Stay current on industry trends, product innovations, and regulatory changes.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve content and delivery methods.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on glass and metal building systems, installation techniques, and supply chain logistics.
What we're looking for:
• 3+ years of experience managing customer service, call centers, training coordination, or support operations
• Familiarity with customer service platforms (e.g., 8x8, SAP C4C, Salesforce)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) or knowledge bases is a plus
