Job Description

Join us. But be you. At Deloitte, you’ll do more than join something — you’ll add something. You’ll be part of a workplace that values curiosity, care, and contribution, working alongside people who are passionate about what they do and the impact they make. The question is simple: What impact do you want to make?

The team you’ll join

Our Learning & Development team is seeking an advisor to join our high performing, values driven team in a role well suited to someone returning to the workforce or seeking work flexibility. This is a 30 hours per week role worked across the week. You’ll play a key role in coordinating learner centred, future ready learning that helps our people build capability and succeed.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team that supports learning at every stage of our people’s careers. We work closely with stakeholders to deliver practical, engaging learning experiences and value inclusion, partnership, and continuous improvement. The team believes strongly in creating learning environments where everyone has choice, voice, and the tools to succeed.

The impact you'll make:

As a Learning and Development Advisor, you’ll provide essential coordination and administrative support to ensure learning runs smoothly. You will:

• Coordinate end‑to‑end learning delivery for in-person in‑person and virtual programmes, including scheduling, learner communications, enrolment management and attendance tracking.
• Generate and analyse reports to support compliance and progress tracking
• Maintain and update Learning Management Systems, ensuring accuracy and data quality.
• Provide first‑line support for L&D queries.
• Build effective working relationships with local, regional, and global stakeholders
• Support the preparation and upkeep of learning materials and presentations.

Your expertise:

To excel in this position, the successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of professional capability, with strengths in coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires the following key competencies:

• Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise competing tasks across multiple programmes and stakeholders.
• Proven administration and coordination experience, with confidence managing end‑to‑end processes and deadlines.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively, ensuring learners and stakeholders are well informed and aligned.
• Sound judgement and emotional intelligence, enabling you to balance priorities, manage expectations, and build trust.
• Solid IT capability, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, with confidence working in systems and reporting tools.
• The ability to adapt, learn quickly, and work confidently with data in a changing environment.

Making an impact that matters, together:

We are driven by our desire to create positive outcomes for our clients, communities, and people. Everything we do is with intent - the intent to make a meaningful difference.

Our shared values are at the heart of everything we do. Living these values, including ‘taking care of each other’ and ‘fostering inclusion’, is essential to ensuring everyone feels included at work and able to reach their full potential. For us to succeed and thrive as an organisation, we understand the importance of creating a culture where diverse perspectives matter and where everyone is given an equal opportunity to grow and develop.

How you’ll be rewarded:

We hold a simple belief – that our people’s hard work should be recognised and rewarded beyond their remuneration. The Deloitte experience is founded on concepts of trust, balance, wellbeing and the importance of personal connection.

We offer you:

• Flexible work arrangements – work in a way that suits you, us and our clients best
• Subsidised professional qualifications and paid professional memberships
• Subsidised health insurance
• Income protection insurance
• 22 days annual leave
• Social events, social sports teams, and monthly firm drinks
• A focus on wellness and well-being
• Community focused volunteer days
• A focus on the environment and sustainability
• Plus much more
