Purpose of the role:

The Learning & Development Co-ordinator will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and supporting learning and development programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of our workforce/participants. This role provides essential administrative and logistical support for all learning and development initiatives, ensuring smooth operation of programs while maintaining excellent communication with participants and stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

Program Support and Implementation

• Coordinate the implementation of established learning development programs

• Assist with scheduling and organizing training sessions and workshops

• Prepare and distribute program materials and resources

• Track program attendance and participation

• Maintain accurate program records and documentation

Logistics Coordination

• Arrange appropriate venues, equipment, and facilities for training activities

• Coordinate catering and refreshments for training events when required

• Set up training rooms and technology for sessions

• Manage participant registrations and confirmation communications

• Coordinate travel arrangements for trainers or participants when necessary

Administrative Support

• Process enrollment forms and maintain participant databases

• Organize and maintain digital and physical training materials

• Prepare and distribute pre and post-training communications

• Compile feedback surveys and evaluation forms

• Generate basic reports on attendance and completion rates

Communication and Liaison

• Serve as the primary contact point for program participants

• Respond to inquiries regarding training programs

• Relay information between trainers, participants, and department managers

• Send reminders and updates to participants about upcoming sessions

• Maintain open communication channels with all stakeholders

Resource Management

• Maintain inventory of training supplies and materials

• Order and restock supplies as needed

• Organize and update resource libraries (physical and digital)

• Assist with the preparation of training materials

• Ensure all necessary resources are available for each session

Program delivery outputs

• Coordination of assigned learning programs

• Timely delivery of all learning programs logistics including venue setup, learning material and communication with employees

• Monthly attendance and completion reports for all learning programs coordinated

• Consolidating learner feedback and summary reports within one week of program completion

• Compile briefing communications for learning program on Asana within the required timelines

• Communicating with all stakeholders on Graduates, Interns and YES learners recruitment

• Coordinate the recruitment process for Graduates, Interns and YES learners i.e scheduling interviews and screening candidates

• Effective onboarding of all Graduates, Interns and YES learners on Greenhouse, Internet and ensuring that payroll timelines are adhered to.

• Monitor and support Graduates, Interns and YES learners

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or related field

• 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, coordination, or similar role

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite

• Experience with data entry and record-keeping
