Learner Success at Whitecliffe
The Learner Success team at Whitecliffe is dedicated to ensuring that all students receive equitable and holistic support to succeed in their academic journey. Our focus is on implementing effective strategies, processes, and policies that enhance student engagement, experience, and support across all schools and areas of specialty.
About You
You are passionate about student success and are driven to help students achieve their highest possible outcomes. You thrive in a collaborative environment and have a keen eye for detail in administrative tasks. Your excellent communication skills allow you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders and provide comprehensive support to students.
About the Opportunity
The Learner Success Coordinator plays a crucial role in implementing the Whitecliffe Learner Success Plan and ensuring consistent application of academic processes and support services across the college.
Administration and Coordination: Support the implementation of Whitecliffe's Learner Success Plan. Manage administrative tasks related to student support, attendance and engagement, including generating and monitoring attendance reports. Liaise with the Learner Success Lead and support services regarding student support.
Collaborate in managing student survey processes including the collation and review of data to enhance the student experience
Student Support: Address student inquiries and provide information on services, policies, and procedures. Contribute to the ongoing review and development of student services. Support Student Voice initiatives and collaborate with relevant staff to identify and address student issues or concerns. Assist with the development of student-facing initiatives and collaborate on culturally-specific services.
Event Management: Support student orientations and other student events. Assist with event planning, coordination, and management to enhance the overall student experience at Whitecliffe.
What you will bring:
Previous experience coordinating student support services in a tertiary education environment
Strong administration skills
Excellent project management skills, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
A student-centric passion and approach to support
