What You Will Do

We’re looking for a motivated Learner, Sales to support our Target account team. This role is ideal for candidates that are seeking hands on experience in retail, analytics, and account management. You’ll help organize data, support business reporting, and assist with day to day sales operations. This person will gain experience in practical experience supporting a major national retailer, build their skills in analytics, communication and sales operations, and will get mentorship and visibility into cross-functional work within the CPG/retail world.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and synthesize sales and category data to support business insights.

• Build and update Excel reports, PowerPoint presentations, and internal documents.

• Assist with item setup, promotional calendars, and weekly business tasks.

• Support meeting prep, recap notes, and follow up action items.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on small projects and adhoc requests.

Who You Are

• Current student or recent graduate with degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, or something similar.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and summarize data.

• Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Experience with Target Corporate - either from an internship, project, or part-time role is a bonus!

• Familiarity with retail math or basic sales analytics preferred.

• Exposure to tools like Power BI, Tableau, or syndicated data is a plus.

Type: Part Time, non-exempt

Pay Range Opportunity:

• The pay range for this role is $20 - $25 per hour

• Weekly hours required: 20 - 28 hours

• This is a part-time 6 month temporary, non-exempt position with potential opportunity for extension and/or to turn into full-time opportunity based on business needs

Compensation Philosophy & Total Comp:

• Our pay ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry

• Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company
