FMI’s Leadership and Organizational Development practice is seeking a dedicated, driven individual with a passion for leadership. In this exciting, fast paced, and highly developmental fellowship, you will help generate cutting-edge content to improve our clients’ organizations, teams, and individual leaders. We are seeking individuals who are early in their careers and interested in corporate governance and leadership development.
This is a paid, part-time fellowship requiring a commitment of 25–30 hours per week. The length of the fellowship may vary, but most fellows serve in the role for approximately 6-12 months with the potential to transition into a full-time position. This hybrid role is based in our headquarters office in Denver, Colorado or Raleigh, North Carolina headquarters.

Responsibilities
Support consulting projects by analyzing client data, developing materials, and assisting with session logistics.
Contribute to the creation and improvement of training content by applying research and best practices.
Collaborate effectively across multiple projects, managing time and priorities with a proactive mindset.
Participate in internal initiatives and thought leadership to help shape our consulting approach.
Grow into a client-facing role by gradually taking on facilitation and presentation responsibilities.
Demonstrate curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.
In this role, you will learn to:
Build expertise across a variety of leadership and organizational development services.
Increase self-awareness of your strengths and areas for growth in leadership consulting.
Design consulting and training content, including presentations, facilitator scripts, and interactive activities.
Translate research and academic concepts into practical solutions and insights for clients.
Analyze company data—such as interviews and surveys—and synthesize findings into themes and actionable recommendations.
Deliver training sessions and presentations, and facilitate discussions both in person and virtually, while honing your unique facilitation style.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a master’s or PhD program in Business, I/O Psychology, or a related field; OR
Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
Strong intellectual curiosity and a passion for leadership and/or organizational development
Skilled in researching complex topics and translating insights into clear, actionable content for business audiences
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment and overcome challenges with resilience
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills; confident and comfortable with public speaking
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
Outstanding time and project management skills, with sound independent judgment
Proactive self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and solve problems independently
Fluent in English (written, spoken, and listening)
Compensation:
$36–$38/hour, commensurate with experience.
