Lead Unreal & C++ Engineer

We’re looking for a Lead Unreal & C++ Engineer who is self-motivated, goal-orientated, and a strong team player. The ideal candidate will have extensive full-time UE programming experience in games. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the digital content production process and who is willing to work with content creators and engineers of other disciplines to build awesome games.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Collaborate with several team members at the same time.
• Support the project lead in all technical decisions.
• Help the producers plan ahead with non-visible requirements and mitigate risks.
• Work hand-on creating excellent code.
• Work directly in multiple projects at the same time.
• Talk to new and current clients.
• Elaborate the company strategy for the Unreal and C++ department.
• Help all developers and tech artists in the current tasks.

Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience as a professional in game development.
• 5+ years as a professional Unreal Game Developer.
• Great understanding of modern Unreal C++ and Blueprints.
• Have led multiple teams at the same time.
• Understanding multiple disciplines in Unreal Engine: AI/Animation/Gameplay programming/Multiplayer.
• Strong skills in Unreal having delivered a few titles at least, including at least 1 AAA title.
• Capable of mentoring, from juniors to seniors.
• Can be able to do code review.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to new technological changes as per project requirements.
• Previous experience as a Lead Developer.
• CI/CD, Jenkins, Gitlab, Plastic SCM knowledge.
• A passion for video games.

DESIRABLE PLUSES:

• Experience working with custom engines in C++.
• Experienced with multiplayer gameplay systems, network replication, core engine, and Virtual Reality technologies.
• Solid technical foundation (e.g. Computer Science / Maths Degree or equivalent).
• Understanding of software development life cycle.
