Are you fluent in business strategy and technical design? Can you translate complex operational challenges into elegant, scalable system blueprints? 

CapTech is seeking a strategic Technical Business Analyst (BSA) to be the critical link between our client's business vision and our technology delivery teams. This isn't just about gathering requirements, you will be at the center of major integration and modernization efforts, driving projects that re-imagine how core business functions operate. 

• Blueprint the Future State: Go beyond documentation. You will evaluate the client's current processes, perform gap analyses, and work with leadership to define a new, optimized future state and how to measure its success. 

• Translate Business Vision into Technical Reality: Own the process of eliciting, analyzing, and defining business needs, and then translate them into crystal-clear technical requirements, user stories, and process flows that engineers can build upon. 

• Architect the Solution alongside Engineering: Partner directly with technical architects and developers to shape the solution design. You'll contribute to data modeling, interface design, and defining system behaviors, ensuring the business logic is perfectly embedded in the technology. 

• Become the Trusted Advisor: Quickly embed yourself in the client's world, becoming the go-to expert on their business challenges and system capabilities, providing the critical connection between business and IT stakeholders. 

• 10+ years of experience as Technical Business Systems Analyst on complex, technology-driven projects. 

• Proven expertise and leadership in mapping complex business processes and designing future-state workflows (using sequence, data flow, and process flow diagrams). 

• Hands-on ability to write and execute basic SQL queries to analyze data, understand current-state data structures, and inform solution design. 

• Strong familiarity with the challenges of multi-system integration, modern IT architecture (APIs, Cloud services), and object-oriented concepts. 

• Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to advise senior leadership and guide technical teams. 

• A true consultant's mindset: you are a proactive problem-solver who thrives on bringing clarity to ambiguity. Prior consulting experience is highly preferred. 

• Experience in both Agile and waterfall environments, JIRA and ADO a plus. 

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
