Looking for a Full-Time, Temporary (May-October 2026)
Kids Country is currently in search of a temporary, full-time Lead Teacher to join our Toddler classroom!
A little bit about us:
Voted the BEST Childcare Center and BEST Preschool in Central MN, Kids Country Child Care and Learning Center is a value-guided center that cares for children ages 6 weeks through 11 years old, catering to the individual needs of each different age group by providing separate classrooms, playgrounds, and programming.
Kids Country is located on Country Manor Campus, a 25-acre healthcare campus that is primarily devoted to caring for seniors in Sartell, MN. With five age-specific classrooms, a large indoor recreational gym, outdoor play areas, and Val Smith park right across the street- there is plenty of space to explore and make everyday fun and unique!
Additionally, being part of a large campus-style setting provides special opportunities for both teachers and students. Teachers are able to take their classrooms throughout the building for a change of scenery, and participate in special weekly visits with our senior living communities in intergenerational programming. Kids Country also participates in campus events like the annual Fourth of July parade!
What your days will look like as a Lead Toddler Teacher at Kids Country:
Carry out the goals and daily operations of the Child Care Center
Ensure compliance with all DCYFS guidelines
Plan and implement daily programs and activities
Prepare and maintain program materials and supplies
Maintain accurate daily records (attendance, meals, schedules, etc.)
Supervise staff and support team collaboration within the program area
Plan and lead intergenerational activities
Conduct parent/teacher conferences and transition meetings
Maintain strong communication with staff, parents, and the Director
Contribute to the monthly newsletter
Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence
Complete required continuing education hours
Participate in open houses and special events
Maintain current licensing requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Lead Teacher Qualification as stated in Rule 3 from the State of Minnesota
Knowledge of and understanding of rules and regulations pertaining to licensed day care facilities
Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must display patience, consideration, and tact when interacting with children and families.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and families
