FMC is searching for talented, self-motivated logistics professionals to work in a free-thinking culture creating the next gen premium entry EVs with the highest autonomous technologies at our Santa Clara, CA facility.

Responsibilities

• plans and executes the software architecture for our automotive embedded human machine interface solutions
• makes key engineering decisions
• creates a modular, adaptable and stable software architecture
• creates software architecture visualizations and documentation
• lead the development of APIs

1. Industry background: Automotive/embedded Software

2. Knowledge and skills: Strong understanding of software design principles

C/C++ development

Unix experience

embedded systems experience (nice to have)

automotive experience (nice to have)

experience with software project management, familiar with agile methodology

familiar with requirement management tools (e.g. Doors, Jama)

experience designing software products in their entirety.

3. Education / Training: 4-6 Years of software engineering experience or education (computer science or similar), 1-2 years of which are work experience

4. Competencies: ability to work independently

ability to learn and adapt quickly

high level of technical creativity

5. Language skills:English
