Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Engineering Support Technician to support assembly, maintenance, and operational activities. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to interpret technical documentation, and hands-on experience working with large assemblies. The Engineering Support Technician plays a critical role in ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across production and maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair technical issues related to equipment, machinery, and systems
• Read and interpret work instructions, technical manuals, and engineering drawings
• Assemble and disassemble large-scale mechanical assemblies in accordance with specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment functionality and reliability
• Install, configure, and test new equipment and systems
• Document work performed, including troubleshooting steps and resolutions
• Adhere to all safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users as needed
Qualifications
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
• Experience as a technician in a mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or equipment maintenance environment
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings
• Experience working with bolted assemblies and fastening methods
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with crane operations and rigging
• Experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment
• Familiarity with standard tools, hardware, and fastening systems
Soft Skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and quality
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Technology Stack
• Mechanical hand and power tools
• Torque tools and fastening systems

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
