Lead Solution Architect (Cloud, Data & AI)

We are partnering with a fast-growing technology organisation to hire a Lead Solution Architect specialising in Cloud, Data and AI. This is a strategic role where you’ll help define and shape the future architecture of a cloud-centric platform with a focus on scalability, performance, data flows and advanced analytics.

As Lead Solution Architect, you will::
• Lead the architectural vision for a next-generation cloud-based platform, helping translate long-term strategy into actionable architectural patterns and scalable designs.
• Drive hands-on design, prototyping, and validation of core platform components, tackling complex distributed-system challenges such as reliability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate closely across teams - including product, engineering, and technical leadership - to align architecture with product strategy and elevate engineering practices.

You are a technical leader with::
• Deep expertise in cloud architecture and distributed systems, including experience designing scalable data pipelines and services.
• Practical experience with one or more cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and event-streaming technologies such as Pub/Sub, Kafka, Spark, or similar.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Go, Rust, Java, or TypeScript, with a willingness to prototype and validate architectural concepts.
• A solid grasp of API design, data governance, privacy considerations, and secure system architectures.
• Experience applying machine learning or AI in production systems or data-driven services.
• Excellent analytical, modelling and communication skills, with the ability to articulate trade-offs and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ideal Profile::
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in architecture or senior engineering roles focusing on cloud, data and AI solutions.
• Proven ability to work independently and influence technical direction across teams.
• A strategic mindset - comfortable navigating ambiguity and converting complex challenges into clear architectural guidance.
