Job Description

 

Collaborating with front-end and back-end developers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Designing and developing scalable and maintainable APIs

Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code for API development and automation tasks.

Integrating third-party services and systems via APIs to enhance application capabilities.

Ensuring the security of APIs through the implementation of authentication, authorization, and encryption techniques.

Creating API documentation for internal and external developers to facilitate easy integration and adoption.

Monitoring API performance, optimizing code, and scaling the API infrastructure as needed.

Developing and executing test cases to validate the functionality, reliability, and scalability of APIs.

Providing technical support for API products, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Keeping abreast of technological advancements and best practices in API development to continuously improve existing APIs.

Working with product managers and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Participating in code reviews to maintain high code quality and encourage knowledge sharing among the development team.

Requirements and skills

Must to have:

8+ years of experience as a .NET Developer,

Familiarity with the .Net Core 6.0/8.0, ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))

Experience on web services or Web API

Experience in containerization Docker

Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)

Understanding of Agile methodologies

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Knowledge of Azure cloud service and CI/CD pipelines
